of Modern Art held a
meeting with famous Belarusian painter - Valentin Gubarev.
The meeting was held in the exhibition project
"Joining Hands" art group "Artel" and was, in fact, a
continuation of the cycle of meetings with the modern Belarusian artists, which
was opened in January 2012 with a meeting with the Belarusian artist and
designer Vladimir Tsesler.
The artist brought one of his last paintings, which turned
over the meeting, explaining the various aspects of his work. During the
meeting, the author talked about how, why he started his creative activity, his
view of art, the characters of his own works, answered numerous questions from
Valentin Gubarev one of the few Belarusian artists on an
ongoing basis with foreign galleries - 18 years ago, he was awarded an
exclusive contract with the Paris
gallery. The author talked about how he perceives the product to French audience,
the experience of working with the gallery, the mechanisms of cooperation, as
well as its participation in the auction, "Christie's", London.
Valentin Gubarev - a talented artist, amazingly
charismatic person who can speak simply and clearly about difficult things,
creating an atmosphere of warmth and friendly conversation.
